Since 1976 Deltronic has been a leader in the Scandinavian market of fire protection with focus on smoke alarms. From stand-alone to interconnected sensors the progress and product development has been ongoing.
-
When Deltronic decided to transform its best-selling and robust smoke and heat detector X10/H10 into smart sensors that would use LoRaWAN technology, we partnered up. The X10/H10 detectors already had lots of useful functions, but no smart communication.
-
The scope required long battery life, long communication range and additional sensor capabilities. We developed a module for the communication pathway using LoRaWan.
-
In this project we were responsible for software development, wireless connectivity, hardware design and production test development.
-
Our team transformed the smoke and heat detectors into IoT devices making them a safe and reliable choice for fire protection.
-
In addition, the devices offer more flexibility and added-value to the property owner, as temperature sensors were added to mention some.
-
Remote supervision of an estate of devices and frequent temperature values and trends are vital added benefit for the users.

WoodsenseWoodsense’s Woody is an intelligent moisture and temperature metering device specially designed for obtaining parameters of wood constructions. Moisture levels are critically important for timber construction lifespans, though usually the mitigation reaction time following an incident is quite slow, as often a problem is only detected once it’s too late.
